Discover the Wild Nature of Crete on an Off-Road Adventure for the Whole Family
The adventure begins at our headquarters in Ammoudara with a safety briefing and a short practice session.
We drive off the main roads along country and dirt tracks known only to the locals. During our safari, we’ll make several stops at unique locations offering breathtaking views at altitudes of up to 700 meters.
We will visit the village of Arolithos, where you’ll get an insight into traditional Cretan life and architecture, with the opportunity to explore local shops and museums (depending on opening hours).
A significant part of the safari takes us through the Almyros Gorge, which stretches along the Keri hills. This is home to Crete’s largest holly forest. You’ll also find other plant species here such as plane trees, carob trees, wild olive trees, and much more.
We’ll stop in the village of Moni where you’ll be served a small Mediterranean meal. Along the way, you’ll see more fascinating sites—small chapels, remote buildings, and of course, plenty of natural beauty.
During this 4-hour tour, we will cover approximately 50 km, most of which is on unpaved roads.
All drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid (car) driver’s license.
The route may vary depending on the day of the week and opening hours!
